| The VP of Human Resources provides human resource services to this $500 million, 1,100 employee consumer products company. This senior leadership role provides strategic overview and insight, staffing, employee relations, organization development, succession planning, and training & development. Additional duties include human resource oversight and support services to multiple manufacturing facilities as needed. This position is located in Pompano Beach, FL. Travel is involved.
Candidates must have 10-15 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment. Labor and contract negotiation experience a plus. A BS degree required, and masters degree preferred.

| Provide a professional level of Human Resources background and experience to
carry out responsibilities in employee relations.
Advise employees and management on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs and procedures of the company’s Employee Resource Guide.
Provide feedback and information to the HR Manager, Sr. Employee Relations Specialist, and Sr. HR Generalist regarding daily HR issues presented by employees.
May lead or assist with Employee relations investigations and resolution of employee issues.
Review and assist managers with the content of annual performance evaluations.
Assist with training and regulatory audits as needed.
Assist with training and regulatory audits as needed.
Facilitate training as necessary (On-boarding, HR software user training, annual compliance) to support the HR Manager, Sr. Employee Relations Specialist and Corporate Trainer.
Work with managers and employees to resolve diverse employee relations issues such as harassment, discrimination etc.
Support and facilitate organizational change by seeking and developing ways for the teams to be most effective.
Monitor documents used to evaluate, correct and enhance job performance and other workplace behaviors, assuring overall fairness and consistency, and meeting business requirements.
Provide coaching and consulting to managers in order to enhance their people and performance management skills.
Perform other HR duties as needed including special projects as assigned.
